A city has grown stuck in its own rutines - no one can remember how it is all connected. And with the static state of collective mind, an unbearable silence starts to spread. Alas: the mayor has decided to pack up the city like a foldable book, and find a place to start over. The further he travels, the more he gets in doubt - what is left in the city he so hastily packed up? We follow his search and findings as he starts to unwrap the streets…

The piece is constructed as a giant pop-up book, and its stories appear through masks, live music, recordings and poetic texts. See more at Vingeskudt
